What is Tamriel Savings Co?

Tamriel Savings Co. (TSC) is a sales history database, not an all-in-one price guide—and that distinction is key. Our goal is to provide a clear, data-backed snapshot of Tamriel’s trading economy, while recognizing that accurate pricing can be determined in multiple ways.

What sets TSC apart is its direct connection to trading guilds’ actual sales history. Each week, real transaction data is pulled straight from in-game records, reflecting what items actually sold for—not just what players are listing them at.

Just because an item is posted at a high price doesn’t mean someone’s paying it. By focusing on confirmed sales, TSC delivers a more authentic view of the market, helping players make smarter, better-informed trading decisions

Our Story

Every great venture has humble beginnings—and ours started with a handful of parchment, a few determined traders, and a lot of heart.

Tamriel Savings Co. (TSC) began as a small hobby and quickly evolved into a full-scale project. Originally known by another name, TSC found its footing thanks to a dedicated group of like-minded players who painstakingly transcribed guild sales history by hand. The process was slow and grueling—we were lucky to record 10,000 sales a month.

Unlike PC players, those on console don’t have access to automated API data, which made our task especially challenging. As time went on, volunteers understandably grew tired and the number of transcribers dwindled. Not wanting the project to fade, I took on the work full-time and managed to push our records to nearly 20,000 sales a month—but I was exhausted.

Then, as if by divine intervention, a fellow player and developer appeared in my DMs with a miracle solution. Together, we built a custom OCR program that allowed us to capture more than 100,000 sales a week from 40 different guilds across Tamriel. We also developed the TSC Discord bot and the TSC Price Fetcher.

Eventually, that developer passed the torch to another, and the project continued to grow. We built a new website, improved our services, streamlined the data-mining process, and most recently launched the TSC Price Fetcher Console Add-on.

Our next major step is to bring TSC cross-platform, delivering accurate, real-time sales data to all four console servers. With the introduction of the TSC Data Hub Add-on, players can now submit guild sales data directly from the game. That data is compiled and processed automatically, feeding back into the Price Fetcher in a single, seamless workflow. Best of all, every player can now contribute to their server’s growing pool of market data.

Multiple price statistics are reported for each item.

Here’s what each one means:

Common Range: 90% of all sales for this item fall between these two prices. Occasionally, someone will drastically undercut or overprice an item, which can skew the Average. The Common Range gives you a broader, more reliable view of typical sales.
Average, Minimum, and Maximum: These are mostly self-explanatory, so we’ll keep it simple.
Average Stack Price: This is the Common Stack Size (the most frequently sold number of units) multiplied by the Average price.
Oldest Record: This one confuses people the most. This is not how old all the data is—it’s simply the date of the oldest recorded sale for that item. Most crafting materials are purged weekly due to frequent sales, while other items sell less often, so knowing how old the data is can be important.
Example: If the current trade week starts 7/5 and the “Oldest Sale” date for an item is 6/14, that means all sales recorded for that item occurred between Tuesday, June 14, and the end of the 7/5 week (7/12). We maintain a minimum of 10 sales per item, unless fewer than 10 sales have been recorded for rarer items.

All of this data helps players determine an item’s value, which is why so many rely on TSC’s services.

What you won't find here

We do not pull sales data from current listings, zone chat, auctions, or third-party sources (Band, Discord, etc.). There is zero human influence on the sales data provided.

We do not share sales data tied to specific guilds or player activity.

We do not store or share personal information such as gamer tags, account IDs, or any identifying player data.

All records are anonymized and focus solely on item sales, not the individuals or guilds behind them.
